Coaching InformationCoaching InformationCoaches: We are always looking for volunteers to help as coaches. No experience required, OBGC will provide training. Click on the Volunteer section for registration details. Thank you to everyone that has volunteered to coach in the 2010 spring OBGC Boys Lacrosse league. Please spend some time at www.uslacrosse.org (see Coaches Education) to review the online courses for coaches. These online courses will be free after Jan 1, 2010. If you have not yet taken the online level one course, we ask that you have this completed as soon as possible.
Jan 31, 2010 OBGC Coaches meeting 6:00 PM–8:00 PM Please try to attend this meeting we will have informative guest speakers and this is our only chance to get organized prior to the season start. Jan 31, 2010 US Lacrosse Level I Clinic 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM **Feb 13, 2010 US Lacrosse Level I Clinic 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM **Note the 2/13/10 level 1 clinic is being sponsored by and for SMYLA. SMYLA will be reimbursing OBGC/Coach’s for some portion of the cost in addition to the Potomac Chapter cost contribution. Please try to attend this training if possible.
