The House/Intramural program is for beginner and intermediate youth wrestlers. The Olney Outlaw teams participate in the Damascus Sports Association Wrestling League (DSAWL). Intramural wrestlers compete in weight classes determined by an age/weight table. Matches are weekly on Saturday’s beginning in December and run through the beginning of February. The season begins with a round-robin style tournament based on weight class. The season ends with a league tournament with matches determined by each wrestler’s season record. This tournament can qualify your wrestler for the Mid-MD tournament (middle of March) which brings together other Maryland wrestling programs. Coaches will determine at the team level if they will participate in additional area wrestling tournaments throughout the season.
We are limited to twenty-seven (27) wrestlers per team so the first fifty-four (54) wrestlers who apply will be given priority consideration. A waiting list will be maintained if more registrations are received. We will do our best to honor team preferences, while also ensuring each wrestler an appropriate practice partner.
If you would like to help volunteer as a practice room coach assistant, please reach out to the Intramural wrestling Commissioner – Nicole Bouquet at firstname.lastname@example.org

OBGC offers two distinct types of baseball programs for children in our community. Both programs offer great opportunities for young players, but whose focus and expectations are somewhat different. The two programs that OBGC offers are house and travel.
The house program is for boys and girls age 5 through 18 and brings together the learning of the game with enjoying the experience of playing. OBGC’s house program includes Shetland/T-Ball.
The travel program has a greater focus on competition and learning the finer points of baseball. Six of our eight OBGC travel teams won their respective league county championship in the 2003 spring/summer season, moving on to compete in Maryland State Championship Tournaments. Two of those teams won Maryland AABC State titles and represented our community in National competition. Travel baseball is available for boys and girls ages U9 through age 18.
